Daily Money Management
Daily Money Managers provide personal financial services to clients who have difficulty with or lack the time necessary to manage personal monetary affairs. A DMM brings clarity and order to an individual’s daily management of personal bills, budgets and record keeping. We can manage a variety of personal financial tasks and can customize a package of services that works for you.
Whether you'd like us to keep track of your finances on an regular basis or you'd just like a little help getting things set up so you can do it on your own, we can help organize all aspects of your financial life.
We will gather all of your financial documents and set up a paper or electronic filing system that works for you. We will also set up systems to pay bills and keep track of bank, credit card and investment statements. If you'd like to do things online, we can teach you how. We will set up online banking and bill pay and help you retrieve and save electronic statements.
Bill Pay & Mail Processing
We will open and sort all of your mail in a timely manner so that you do not miss any important due dates or deadlines. We will discard junk mail, shred sensitive documents and file or scan any necessary paperwork. All bills will be paid in a timely manner according to your preferences. Bills can be paid on site or forwarded to our office through our client portal or by using our FedEx account. We can pay bills online or prepare checks for your signature. A report of all paid expenses will be provided to you on a monthly basis for review.
Banking & Account Reconciliation
With your authorization we will make bank deposits at your financial institution, initiate transfers and research interest rates. We will maintain a complete list of all checking, savings, money market, and credit card accounts as well as any CDs. All accounts can be maintained and reconciled in Quicken® personal accounting software so that you always have accurate and up to date account information. We will check statements for errors or suspicious activity and, with your permission, we will work with your banker or creditor to resolve any problems that may arise.
Regardless of your income level, having a clear understanding of your income and expenses is important in making sound financial decisions. We can help you analyze your financial standing and create a spending plan that works for your lifestyle. People in transition, whether newly employed or recently married, divorced or widowed, often need to take a fresh look at their finances. We can help you gather the information you need to make informed decisions about your budget. If you need some support sticking to your budget, we can serve as your accountability partner and do regular check-ins to help you stay on track.
We are happy to work with your accountant, attorney, insurance agent, banker or financial planner as needed. We will provide them with timely and accurate financial information so that they can provide you with the services you need. We can also help you fill out forms, questionnaires, and applications. When taxes are due, we will gather all of the information your accountant needs to do your taxes and answer any questions they may have concerning your financial transactions.
We also work directly with accountants, attorneys, insurance agents, bankers and financial planners who have clients that need help organizing and managing their finances. We will compile the information you need so that you can focus on your primary service.
